Municipal Energy Efficiency Projects Workshop in MENA

Insights into the Projects Workshop in MENA on the 14 and 15 September 2021. Nine Municipalities from Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Tunisia presented their project ideas and had a chance to further develop them in the fields of: improving energy efficiency in municipal buildings, energy efficiency via reduction of fuel consumption in waste management and energy efficient street lighting.  More

 

Local Economic Development and Job Creation in Middle East and North Africa

Six selected project ideas were further developed into concrete project proposals through tailored technical and financial advice during this two-day virtual workshop from 19 to 25 January 2021 and presented to representatives from UN-Habitat, IsDB, EBDRD and UNDP.  More

Traffic-calmed Old Town in Chiang Mai

Local stakeholders from the city government, private business, local universities and civil society met in Chiang Mai, on February 15th, to discuss the conditions and define implemenation steps to reduce cars in the Old Town centre. More

Bogotá: 10 Years of the Observatory of Mobility

On the 26th and 27th of February 2018 Connective Cities organized a Workshop for the exchange of mobility data collection and use. Besides the exchange of experiences, options of how to support the observatory of mobility in future were planned. More

 

Increasing the number of cyclists in the Macedonian capital

In order to improve the traffic situation in Skopje and to make the city more liveable and sustainable, a new bicycle concept is to be developed for Skopje.
