Description:

The Working-Group "SDG-Indicators for Municipalities", consisting of representatives of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affiars and Spatial Development, the Association of German Cities, the Deutscher Städte- und Gemeindebund, the Deutsches Institut für Urbanistik and Engagement Global, dealt with the question, which indicators for the monitoring of the SDGs are applicable in German municipalities to make the implementation of the SDGs in German municipalities more efficient and more effective.

The first project results are available in a catalog of indicators. It represents the results of a one-and-a-half-years process of work and documents the current state of the working-process - without being final or binding. It describes the intermediate result on high standards which requires practical testing on the ground, discussion and, for sure, adjustment.

The catalog is available in German language only.
