In the upcoming months, Connective Cities is hosting an online exchange of expertise between municipal practitioners on how to implement an umbrella organization for informal waste collectors. German and international municipal experts will support the practitioners in Mitrovica in developing structures for better organisation and representation of the informal waste sector together with the informal waste collectors on site. The kick-off exchange will take place virtually on 08.09.

The main objectives of the virtual exchange are:

• Specifying the already developed project idea together with the local experts in Mitrovica
• Advising them on involvement and cooperation with local stakeholders
• Consultation in regard to conceptualizing the planned organisationIn total, there are three online sessions planned.
