Connective Cities
INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE FOR SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT
Newsletter - Edition No. 19, March 2018

Dear reader,

Connective Cities' approach to supporting the practice-based exchange of experience among urban practitioners looking for sustainable solutions to local challenges is also highly relevant to the implementation of the New Urban Agenda and the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The debates during the World Urban Forum in Kuala Lumpur have shown exactly that!

In line with the Kuala Lumpur Declaration on Cities 2030, Connective Cities is making a significant contribution to facilitate cities learning from each other and that good practices are being spread.

We wish you an exciting reading,

Your Connective Cities Team

Review
Networking of urban practitioners
Connective Cities Events at the World Urban Forum (WUF9) on the 8th and 9th February 2018 in Kuala Lumpur

How can exchange between urban practitioners contribute to joint learning? How to use good practices on urban topics, for example from Germany, Thailand and Indonesia? In addition, how does peer-to-peer consultation support the identification of solutions for challenges on municipal level? Connective Cities showed how practice-oriented exchange of experiences works and how the implementation of the New Urban Agenda can be supported by municipal partnerships and networks of practitioners.
