Dear readers,
apart from the thematic determinations for regional learning processes among local practitioners, strategic and structural considerations are on the agenda: by placing regional network coordinators (initially in three regions: for Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus in Georgia, for North Africa and the Middle East in Jordan, and for Sub-Saharan Africa in Kenya) we intend to get even closer to the relevant topics of sustainable urban development and their actors, in order to design dialogues and expert missions even more precisely.
From a strategic perspective, Connective Cities will support the goals of cities and their associations to bring their voice to global policy processes by empowering local practitioners to position their practical examples on international agendas.
We wish you an exciting reading,
Your Connective Cities Team
