NEWSLETTER - EDITION No. 38, June 2021

|
Dear readers,
With a total of ten international events in the last couple of weeks, we can look back on a very busy and eventful time. In addition to smart city development, crisis management and vaccination strategies in the context of COVID-19, the focus was also on topics relating to municipal climate protection: from urban gardening to energy efficiency and renewable energy to sustainable land management. In cooperation with the City of Bonn and in partnership with UCLG and PLATFORMA, we also organized a three-day exchange on strengthening the local implementation of the SDGs through reporting and monitoring.
Several good practices have also emerged from these diverse learning experiences, which we continue to document systematically. We have compiled a selection here and you can find more on our website, where we will post new ones every week.
If you are working in your municipality on the topic of "Covid-19 and urban mobility: impacts of the pandemic and prospects for a post-Corona future " or "Fostering social entrepreneurship", we would encourage you to join us at one of our upcoming events this summer. Other events are in the planning stages. More information about them will soon be available on our website.
We hope you enjoy reading the newsletter. Stay healthy!
