Our new working group is dedicated to the development of sustainable and cost-effective housing projects, particularly in the context of Sub-Saharan Africa. As part of our peer-learning method, we are organizing a series of online and live events as well as workshops to promote shared knowledge, inspire innovations, and advance progress towards sustainable housing.
This workshop is conducted in collaboration with the Namibian Ministry of Urban and Rural Development and the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building, and Housing of Berlin (Germany).
In addition to expert presentations, consultations with representatives from various sectors are planned, including the private sector, housing corporations, the GIZ Construction Department, as well as international and regional financing institutions such as the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Seize the opportunity to identify concrete potentials, develop strategies, and draft financing proposals for cost-effective housing projects. Join this enriching exchange to gain new perspectives and expand your network.
