Connective Cities invites you to the Workshop on Renewable Energy at the Municipal Level!

Date: 11th - 13th June 2024

Location: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

As part of the learning process for the Southeast Europe/Caucasus (SEE) region, Connective Cities is organizing a workshop on "Renewable Energy at the Municipal Level" in Sarajevo from 11 to 13 June 2024.

We are inviting german and international experts from municipal administrations and companies, as well as professionals from the private sector, civil society, and academia working in the field of renewable energy provision, municipal energy planning, and building management.

  • Learn about the challenges and solutions in the field of renewable energy at the municipal level
  • Share your expertise and learn from other projects and strategies
  • Collaborate on solutions for a sustainable energy future

The workshop will focus on the following areas:

  • Creating incentives for investments in renewable energy projects
  • Energy efficiency measures for public buildings
  • Engaging the population in energy efficiency projects

Participation and contact:

Interested participants are asked to apply by 7 May 2024 and to provide a brief overview of their professional expertise and/or good practices from municipal practice. You are also welcome to submit projects in the topics mentioned.

The conference language is English.
