In the following, we would like to give an outlook on our upcoming virtual closing event on March 12, 2024. This event marks the finale of our learning process on the topic of "Evacuation and Accommodation of evacuated people in Urban Areas", which began with a dialog event in Cologne back in March 2023.

The dialog event in March 2023 paved the way for a series of inspiring follow-up activities. These included a virtual international expert exchange on the topic of "Volunteering in disaster management: organized volunteering and the organization of spontaneous helpers" in June 2023 and a local project workshop in the Philippines on the topic of "Citizen Engagement in Disaster Management and Promotion of Inclusive Personnel Development in the Fire Department", which was attended by experts from three German municipalities in October 2023.

In the midst of the dialog event, virtual exchange programs and workshops, our closing event will provide an opportunity to come together in the formed network. Together, we want to reflect on and discuss the effects of the learning process on the participating municipalities and other companies. We also want to capture which project ideas from the dialog event were developed further and which challenges arose during the continuation of this work.

We welcome our participants to be part of this milestone and to evaluate the progress made together.
