Municipal Solid Waste Management in Lebanon

First workshop for stabilization of communities hosting Syrian refugees in the Middle East

Under the BMZ Strategy for stabilization of communities hosting Syrian refugees in the Middle East, which aims on supporting those communities through providing them with know-how from German municipalities and municipal enterprises, the first Workshop on the topic of Municipal Solid Waste Management will take place in Lebanon from July 4-6, 2017. Participants from Lebanese and German local authorities will exchange their practical approaches to planning of the communal waste management and share their experiences in waste separation, recycling and management of operational facilities.
