The Call for Topics 2019 to German cities and municipal companies has been evaluated. Connective Cities would like to thank all participating municipalities and companies for submitting such interesting topics. Three topics were selected for the start of the third phase of Connective Cities. The exchange processes each start with a dialogue event in the submitting host cities and companies in Germany.

From 3 to 5 September 2019, the international Community of Practice is organising an international Dialogue Event on 'Climate proofing urban development' in cooperation with the City of Dortmund. Further information can be found in the call for participants <link file:6228 download internen link im aktuellen>here.

In cooperation with Stadtreinigung Hamburg, a further dialogue event will take place in Hamburg from 3 - 5 December 2019 on the topic ‘Contribution of Municipal Waste Companies to Solving the Problem of Plastic Waste'.

The third subject 'Urban Gardening - from Urban Agriculture to Regional Value Chains' launches in Berlin in spring 2020 and is organised in cooperation with the districts of Mitte, Pankow, Lichtenberg, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and Tempelhof-Schöneberg.
