In cooperation with Hamburg’s municipal waste company, Stadtreinigung Hamburg, the international community of practice Connective Cities is organising a Dialogue Event on the topic of plastic waste from the 3rd to 5th of December 2019.

The event is geared towards German and international municipal actors working on developing a municipal strategy for tackling the challenge of plastic waste. Through an in-depth exchange of knowledge and experiences as well as the presentation of good practices, the actors shall receive the necessary insights to formulate individual solutions and options for further cooperation.

Thematic focus:

• Sustainable separated household waste collection systems

• Sustainable use of plastics

• Avoiding plastic packaging
