The international cities platform, Connective Cities and its initiators, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the German Association of Cities (Deutscher Städtetag) and Engagement Global GmbH/Service Agency Communities in One World (SKEW), invite urban practitioners from Asia and Germany to take part in the Connective Cities regional dialogue event “Towards Green Urban Infrastructure for Asian Cities” in Bandung, Indonesia from 19th to 21st of November 2019.
The focus of this dialogue will be on knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer learning about local good practices to address green urban infrastructure challenges. The methodology requires active participation from all participants. To encourage an interactive session, the format of the dialogue event will be a combination of classroom presentations and interactive group work. The presentation format will mainly explore and exchange good practices among the participants. This is also the opportunity for peer-to-peer consultations with other municipalities in Asian region on how actual challenges could be addressed in a practical manner.
