The Global Leadership Academy: Launching the first Urban Innovation and Leadership Lab starting in Shanghai, Durban and Berlin

The Global Leadership Academy (commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ) together with its cooperation partner Impact Solutions are launching the first Urban Innovation and Leadership Lab – for leaders, organizations and change agents who want to develop their potential to tackle current challenges relating to urban life and development. Over a six-month period, around 50 experienced leaders from around the world will work in three different cities and world regions: Shanghai, Durban and Berlin. The urban experts and activists from business, government and policy-making, civil society and academia will share their causes and visions while participating in a collaborative process that enables them to shape the future of development, society and technology in metropolitan areas. The three face-to-face modules of the lab will be complemented by ongoing coaching to enhance leadership skills and to enable progress in the collaborative development of innovative solutions for a sustainable urban future. The Global Leadership Academy invites you as urban expert or activist who are open to new thinking and whose outreach enables you to transfer new impulses and insights into your home country.
