Call for Participants for a Dialogue Event

‘Public Health Protection at Municipal Level’ - 25 to 27 November 2015 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany

The international exchange platform Connective Cities and its initiators, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the German Association of Cities and Engagement Global / Service Agency Communities in One World, are seeking municipal practitioners for the Dialogue Event on ‘Public Health Protection at Municipal Level’ that is scheduled to take place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 25 to 27 November 2015.

The event is geared to both German and international municipal actors with an interest in, and first-hand experience of, public health protection and epidemic control at local level. All participants are expected to engage pro-actively in the international dialogue by communicating their experience, showcasing examples of good practice and identifying concrete public health sector needs. Connective Cities is
organising the event in collaboration with the City of Frankfurt’s Public Health Department which plans to share its experience of hazardous biological situations with the dialogue participants.
