Connective Cities and UCLG cooperate to support learning processes between cities

Connective Cities and UCLG plan to cooperate more closely with each other

The objective is, to support the exchange of experience and the mutual Learning among cities, at a global level. Soon, a joint event will take place in Bogotá. UCLG as the international association of cities and municipalities is inter-connected with cities and municipalities at a global level. Within its Learning Agenda it supports the exchange of experiences and peer-learning among urban actors. Connective Cities also promotes the international exchange among urban actors and has already developed and successfully used methodical approaches for exchange and collegial advice. Cooperating with each other, both organizations and its objectives will benefit by synergic effects regarding mobilization of participants, distribution of Good Practice, methodological learning etc.

During the upcoming <link https: www.bogota2016.uclg.org en external-link-new-window externen link in neuem>5th World Summit of UCLG (World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders), which will take place from 12th to 15th of October 2016 in Bogota /Columbia, they will work together in a joint event. In the context of a common learning event on Urban Mobility, urban practitioners will have the opportunity to exchange their experiences and provide each other with collegial advice. This will also be an opportunity to introduce the new cooperation and present the perspectives of the cooperation.
