Connective Cities Practitioners' Workshop at the German Habitat Forums

Realising integrated urban development

2 June 2016 in Berlin, Germany

Co-hosted by the BMZ and the Land (State) of Berlin, the German Habitat Forum (GHF) is an international dialogue forum ahead of the Habitat III World Conference – the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development – scheduled to take place in Quito, Ecuador, from 17 to 20 October 2016. It is a centrepiece of Germany's contribution to the Habitat III process as well as the New Urban Agenda (NUA) and offers an opportunity for national and international stakeholders to discuss expected outcomes of the Habitat process and to shape key messages for the NUA and its implementation. The GHF outcome document, the Berlin Recommendations, will inform the discussion towards the Habitat III conference.

Connective Cities, together with the GIZ Sector Project on Sustainable Development of Metropolitan Regions and the World Business Council on Sustainable Development, will convene a workshop on "Realising integrated urban development" on June 2.
