Connective Cities, the international community of practice for sustainable urban development, will present its learning formats and new agile ways to promote local change processes and solution approaches for urban challenges. Together with GWOPA and the Utility Platform, Connective Cities will host the panel discussion on "Peer to peer consultation: Bringing the SDGs closer to the citizens" on Thursday, 30th June at 15:00 – 16:00 CEST in the German pavilion of WUF11.

Municipal experts worldwide exchange ideas about challenges and look for solutions in a format of collegial advice. As two examples, we will discuss the experiences of the municipalities Bonn and Manizales, who used the method from Connective Cities to find out how they could bring the SDGs closer to the citizens. The panellists will display how the municipalities exchanged experiences and adopted the partner’s ideas and activities.
