As part of the virtual week of Connective Cities, two virtual events on crisis communication will be held on Thursday 26 November 2020.
This session will focus on the communication strategies of municipalities to inform about the pandemic in a good and transparent way, to communicate clearly about the impact of Covid-19, to fight fake news and to ensure social cohesion in times of crisis.
Our speakers:
Moderation: Federico Granda & Adriana Dolnyckyj
Modern means of communication facilitate access to information during the crisis. However, marginalised groups are often difficult to reach, which exacerbates social inequalities. This session will look at Latin American examples to discuss how crisis management can better involve marginalised and vulnerable communities and how to meet their needs.
Our speakers:
Moderation: Arnulfo Valdivia-Machuca (former Mexican ambassador to Colombia) & Ericka Toledo Zurita
You are cordially invited to our virtual global exchange of experiences! The participation is free of charge. However, registration is required.
