Municipal know-how for Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey

Study tours and project workshops for German, Lebanese, Jordanian and Turkish municipalities.

In September and October of 2018, the International Community of Practice for Sustainable Urban Development Connective Cities organised three project workshops for Jordanian, Lebanese and Turkish municipal representatives in cooperation with the “Municipal know-how for host communities in the Middle East” programme. The representatives utilised these events to exchange their expert knowledge with German practitioners and develop project ideas.

The workshops were thematically based on previous dialogue events and study tours, so the municipal representatives had already acquainted themselves with one another. The experts left these final project workshops with concrete drafts for their projects that fit the individual challenges and opportunities of each municipality and will serve as a basis for further project partnerships.
