In October 2019, the international community of practice Connective Cities is organising a two-day network event in Berlin with selected German municipal experts from the Connective Cities network pool to reflect on past activities and results and involve the experts more closely in the project.

Experienced and new experts from Germany will receive the opportunity to strengthen their networks and benefit from an extensive exchange on their experiences. Furthermore, newer experts can acquaint themselves with the methods of Connective Cities through a practical application with international municipal guests. Three thematic focuses have been defined for these practical applications and the discussions in working groups: sustainable mobility, integrated urban development and municipal services. For the third and current phase of Connective Cities, three network events are planned and will include further topics.
