Practitioners' Workshop on Sustainable Urban Mobility and Climate Change

Call for participants - 1st Connective Cities Dialogue Event in Southeast Europe

The international community of practice Connective Cities and its initiators, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the German Association of Cities (DST) and Engagement Global gGmbH / Service Agency Communities in One World, invites urban practitioners from South-East-European (SEE) countries as well as from Germany to participate in the Connective Cities Practitioners’ Workshop on Sustainable Urban Mobility and Climate Change – “Reducing Air Pollution by Climate-Friendly Means of Urban Transport”, to be held in Chisinau, Moldova from 10th to 12th of October 2017.

The event is geared towards urban practitioners with an interest and first-hand experience in sustainable urban mobility and climate change. This includes representatives of cities and projects focusing on the management of urban mobility/transport as well as representatives of different stakeholder groups, such as local government and administration, private business, civil society, and science and research. Related networks from the region are also welcome. All participants are expected to engage proactively in the practitioners’ workshop by presenting their experience, showcasing examples of good practices in their municipality and/or identifying concrete challenges they face.

Connective Cities is organising the event in collaboration with local and international partner organisations, which will share their own experiences on the topic.
