Machine learning algorithms can create predictive models that foresee the likelihood and severity of future disasters, allowing authorities to prioritize planning and response activities. Furthermore, AI-powered systems can improve disaster response by optimizing resource allocation, methods of evacuation, and relief distribution using continuous data streams and situational awareness.
