The winning cities of the Connective Cities thematic call for German municipalities and municipal enterprises are the cities of Bonn, Wiesbaden and Kiel. All three will get the opportunity to co-host an international dialogue event with Connective Cities. We are very pleased to add three new themes to the Connective Cities programme for 2021.

The City of Bonn will offer a dialogue event on “Strengthening local implementation of the SDGs through local reviews” in the first half of the year. For the second half of the year, the City of Wiesbaden will co-host a dialogue event on the topic of “Sustainable Urban Logistics” and the City of Kiel has added to its agenda a dialogue event on “Social Entrepreneurship: field of action for local business development? What are the potentials for cities and how can cities promote this sector?”

All dates and the call for participants will be available on our website soon. The Connective Cities team would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants in the call for the very good submissions. We are confident that, in addition to the cities of Bonn, Wiesbaden and Kiel, we will be able to engage in our activities all other municipalities and municipal enterprises that contributed to the thematic call.
