Call for participants: Connective Cities virtual Dialogue Event in cooperation with Trier, Germany

Sustainable and resilient, regional and intermunicipal and management: Challenges and opportunities for growing urban land regional centres

In cooperation with the municipality of Trier, the international community of practice Connective Cities is organizing a virtual Dialogue Event on the topic "Sustainable and resilient, regional and intermunicipal land management" from 18 to 20 November 2020. The event is geared towards both German and international municipal actors working on proofing their land management plans and strategies for their cities. Through an in-depth exchange of knowledge and experiences as well as the presentation of good practices, the actors shall receive the necessary insights to formulate individual solutions and options for further cooperation. Thematic focus:

  • Integration of the three sustainability dimensions and resilience into urban development plans and projects
  • Land use plans and conflict of interests: criteria for setting priorities
  • Cross-border cooperation for growing regional centres: making the most of regional resources
