E-Learning Course on Sustainable Urban Mobility in Developing Countries

The course is organised by GIZ and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research

GIZ, in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research is inviting urban and transport planners, decision makers from local governments, and international organizations involved in the transport sector worldwide to register for the Sustainable Urban Mobility in Developing Countries E-learning Course from 18 September – 8 December 2017.

The 12-week course aims to enhance the capacity of urban transport planners and decision makers in formulating and implementing appropriate policies that contribute to sustainability in urban transport in developing countries. While it includes an analysis of key issues in the transport sector, it likewise presents means for tackling such issues such as economic and financial instruments, institutional improvements, and capacity building, among others.

Each of the six modules include readings, self-assessment activities and quizzes. Participants will be engaged in hands-on collaborative tasks, and practical application of knowledge gained.
