The 7th International Urban Cooperation programme webinar will be held on 14 November 2019 from 15:00 – 16:30 CET, focusing on gender-equal cities, including overviewing lessons learnt and future perspectives. The webinar is open to all interested persons. Those who join will learn what a gender-equal city looks like, how looking through a ‘gender lens’ benefits everyone, and what steps can be taken to initiate changes in your own city. The webinar will discuss examples of gender-sensitive urban planning, look at anti-discrimination campaigns, and address some common myths around gender equality.
Expert speakers will present practical examples from the cities in Sweden, Canada, and Argentina.
